Disaster Recovery Plan – Computer Hardware?

What is your Disaster Recovery Plan for getting New Computer Hardware?

If you have a fire and your whole office is gone, what do you do next?

What computer hardware do you need to buy and where do you buy it?

Who is going to install all the computer hardware and setup your network?

You need to be thinking about these issues now, not when you are in the middle of a crisis.  Planning now will save you time and money in the long run.

What to think about BEFORE a Disaster!

You NEED to MAKE a PLAN and WRITE everything down.  Make a Document and Store it in a few different places.  It doesn’t help if the document is stored in your office and you have a fire.  The information is gone and you are back to square one.

  • Where is your Off-Site Backup Stored?
  • Where do you buy New Computer Equipment?  How long before you can get new equipment.
  • Who is your Computer Support Company/Person?  Contact information.  Ask how long it will take them to put your Network back together.  Are they setting up both the Hardware and Software, or do you need two different companies.

I always recommend when you are thinking of buying a product, why not buy it through someone's affiliate link. We should all be working together to build our Internet Marketing Businesses, and why not buy from someone we know, like and trust.
