Outsourcing – Does it work?
Why should you think about Outsourcing Projects?
I am in the process of creating a software program and started running into problems. I have never been a great coder, but I can do a few basic things and know how to learn. I was spending a lot more time working on this project than I planned and not getting other things done.
I then started attending Jeff Mills “Minnesota Online Marketing Mastermind” group that meets once a month in the Twin Cites. Jeff recommends Outsourcing and talks about it a lot.
What I did, is then get an account at Rent A Coder, and posted my project. Very easy to post a project and I ended getting 30 or more bids on my project. Bids were from $300 to $10 for my project. I don’t have lots of money, so I didn’t want to spend much.
What I did, is look through all the bids and checked out each bidder. Everytime you have a project on Rent A Coder, at the end you get to Rate the coder. You want to make sure that you check out the comments and ratings.
I ended up picking “ramywhite”, who is from Egypt. Since the cost of living is so much lower, he was a great deal. I couldn’t have picked a better person to work with. Low cost for his work, and I would recommend him for any of your software coding projects. Let ramywhite know I told you about him.
