Thomas Shay’s Views on Buying Internet Marketing Products
There is a lot of money to be made on the Internet these days, and I compare it to Gold Rush of 1849. Thousands and thousands of people wanted to get rich quick and mining for gold was the way for them to do it. Only about 4% to 6% ever even found gold and about 1% got rich.
To me this sounds like Internet Marketing of today. Many more thousands, even hundreds of thousands are trying to find a way to get rich or even make a little extra money on the Internet.
During the Gold Rush the main people who got rich where the store keepers who sold the miners the tools and supplies to dig for gold. NOT the miners themselves. If you look at what the Top Internet Marketing Guru’s are doing today, you will see the same thing. They are selling you the tools to run your Internet Marketing Business.
Just so you know, that doesn’t mean their Tools/Information is no good, but 99.9% of the people who buy their stuff, don’t follow their directions on their systems. Most people jump from one thing to another and never really learn one system before giving up and going to the next best thing. Some people spend $100 or even $1,000 and never even open the package, or logon to get their stuff. They have too many things going on at the same time.
One of the best pieces of advice I can give you, is when you buy one Internet Marketing System, is to stick it out. Follow the system Step by Step and do everything the way they show you. Most people fail because they think they already know what they are doing and start changing the system to meet their thinking. BIG MISTAKE! These Guru’s, do know what they are talking about.
No matter what, there is no Get Rich Quick System out there. You will need to work hard and follow through on your projects.
Another good tip is when you buy a Marketing System from any good Internet Marketing Guru, stop reading all the other emails from the other Lists you belong to. I have done two things; one is to remove myself from some email lists. The other is to setup email folders and then have a filter/rule that automatically moves the email to that folder when you receive it. With these emails I just ignore them and don’t look at them at all.
You have a job to do and don’t need all the distractions that hundreds of emails can be. With being an Internet Marketer, you can be distracted so easy. New systems, tools and offers, that sound so great and you think it would be a great fit for your business. I learned the hard way and it took me awhile to get my Internet Marketing Business organized.
So remember next time you are thinking about creating a product, make the tools/products that will be useful to all the Internet Marketer’s trying to get RICH. Don’t waste your time following the HERD, get the HERD to follow you.
