Matt Cutts – Google Search Expert
We all need to listen/read what Matt Cutts talks about.
Matt Cuts has worked for Google since 2000 and now is the head of Google’s Webspam Team.
He has a Ph.D. in computer graphics, M.S. in both mathematics and computer science, and B.S. in both mathematics and computer science.
Mat wrote Google’s Family Filter, which is called SafeSearch.

One of his latest posts is about the robots.txt file. He talks about how google handles the robots.txt file.
A robots.txt file is used to block Google from crawling/indexing a webpage you don’t want to show up in the search results. Like a download page for your paid products.

In this video Matt gives you some tips on how to improve how your site shows up in Google’s Search Results Pages.
Matt talks about everything you see when you do a search on google. He talks about how site links, page titles, adn page descriptions affect search results.
