How Easy is it to Make Money Online?
You see all these sales letters on the internet these days telling you how easy it is to make 1,000′s of dollars in a day or week for little or no work at all in your Online Business.
Well I am going to tell you its not that easy, but it can be done. You can’t start from scratch and make lots of money right away. That’s just a pipe dream.
It’s a lot of work, but in the end its worth it. I really enjoy working on my Online Business.
The biggest learning curve is the first year or so. You are faced with information overload and have to figure out everything. Believe me it gets easier as time goe’s by.
When you are starting out everything is new to you. You have a lot to learn, just remember, after you do something a few times, it gets easier.
The best thing you can do is to treat this like a real business. Have a plan and stick with it. Try not to get side tracked. Have a goal you are working toward.
Everyone needs to have a Big Hairy Audacious Goal (“BHAG“)! What is yours? You start out with your major goal and break it down into smaller goals. Figure out what you need to do to get to your “BHAG”.
An Example would be something like, “I want to make $500,000 per year from my Internet Marketing Online Business“. OK, now how am I going to get to this goal?
Now you need to start breaking the goal down. If you want to make $500,000 per year, you will need to make about $1,370 per day.
Ask youself, how do I make $1,370 per day. You want to start an Internet Marketing Online Business to make this money. How do I start an Internet Marketing Online Business, you ask yourself?
First you need an Niche. What is your purpose of your Online Business? Are you going to sell Dog Toys, Cat Food, Internet Marketing Products, Weight Loss Help, the possiblies are endless. Think about who is going to be your perfect customer.
Are you going to sell your own products or are you selling affiliate products?
Second you will need a website to sell your affiliate products and your products. Break this down into many more parts. You will then need to buy an domain name and hosting account.
When you have your domain name and hosting account, you will then need to setup your website / blog. This can be the biggest challange for most people.
The best thing you can do is just work on one thing at a time and learn how to do it. There is no time limit on how fast you need to learn everything. Don’t make the mistake of trying to do to many things at once. Take your time and keep plugging away.
On lesson I have learned from Tellman Knudson, is spend 1/2 your time learning and 1/2 your time putting your knowledge into action. So if you work on your Internet Marketing Online Business for 2 hours, you should spend 1 hour learning how to do something and 1 hour implementing it.
