Internet Marketers need a Linux Hosting Account to Run their Blog / Website.
I have made websites that run on windows servers with html as the code before, but had never build a website that runs on Linux Servers and uses PHP for code before I build this blog and my website “Internet Marketers Organizer“.
If you are doing any kind of Internet Marketing, you need to make sure you get a hosting account what runs on Linux Servers. Most if not all good website scripts run on PHP Code and with php code you need linux servers.
When I first started buying a few website scripts, I didn’t know I needed a hosting account on a Linux Server, so they didn’t work on my Windows Server Hosting account. So I paid money for something I couldn’t use.
I don’t recommend 1and1 Website Hosting even through I have two websites with them. They have been great and have many tools to help you build a website and their support in fast and good. It’s just for Internet Marketers they are missing a few good programs in their hosting accounts.
The main things you are looking for are a CPanel and Fantastico. The CPanel is your admin panel where you edit / create your website. Fantastico is part of CPanel where you can install blogs, forums, surverys, and many more applications that will run on your website.
With CPanel you can install a WordPress Blog in under 5 minutes. Way Cool.
I recommend getting a NameCheap Hosting Account, as this is what I am using today and they are great to work with.
